Psychiatric Issues in Emergency Care Settings (PIECS) is published quarterly to provide a forum for discussion of clinical challenges in diagnosis and management for psychiatrists, emergency medicine physicians, and other related personnel who deal with psychiatric emergencies. Each issue is focused around a particular topic, with invited review articles, clinical case presentations, and commentaries, as well as Literature Highlights and Reader Forum sections.
